Happy Independence Day! ? I’m back from Mexico which means I can chat a bit about the competition results.

I hope everyone has had a safe and fun weekend. I think I’m going to take a trip out to Presque Isle after I finish this article.

Competition Results & Work

We didn’t take first in the Lego competition. Instead, we were sitting just above half at 4th of 8 teams, so I’m feeling alright! We probably spent the most money out of any team in hopes that we would have a higher success. Unfortunately, there were differences at crunch time that lost us some important points. Regardless, I’m just happy its over. I could have done without the Lego madness, and instead just spent the time with the locals!

Well it’s back to work for this kid! I can’t say I’m the most excited to return to the grind, but it’ll be nice to be able to get back to working on this site. Hopefully, I’ll have some time to start producing content for the store. We’ll see!

Song Of the Week

I think the most overplayed song of the past week has won the award for song of the week. That’s right! It’s Despacito.

Nothing really beat riding around town late at night blasting this song. Definitely a highlight of the Mexico trip.

General Site Updates

Not much happened in terms of the site. I just got back Friday, and I’m getting ready for the big move on the 13th. Maybe we’ll see some bigger updates as I settle in Atlanta.

Coming Soon to The Renegade Coder

Well the big move is coming up next week. After that, I’ll have a couple weeks of quiet time before I move myself and the cats down as well. I’m looking at August to really polish up the site. Until then, be patient! 🙂
