Traveling, Training, and Trekking

I know I promised I’d be too busy to write, but I couldn’t let the streak end. However, this will be brief! After all, I’m still traveling. 🙂

Table of Contents

Traveling

This week I’ve been exploring Mexico! I didn’t just travel on whim however. It’s a part of a leadership training through my job. As a result, I’ve been fortunate enough to explore Querétaro and Mexico CityOpens in a new tab.. However, I won’t bore you with the details. I plan to write a formal blog about the trip when I get some free time. I’ll be back in the States by Friday, June 30th.

Lego

By now, I’m just in day two of the training. However, I’ve spent a ton of time playing with Lego. We’re doing a bit of a design challenge where we have to craft a robot which can complete a set of tasks. The purpose of the challenge is to teach us about design reviews. As a result, there’s been quite a bit of panic and stress, but it’s been interesting so far. I’ll check back in next week when my team wins! 😀

Song of the Week

For the song this week, I’ve decided to resort to another great cover by ilonqueen. I figure I might as well post something in Spanish since I’m in Mexico this week.

Moving forward, I’ll start letting y’all in on my punk side. After all, Warped Tour is in full swing.

Coming Soon!

Well the two main things I’m working on have been put on hold for the duration of this trip: the shop and the data structures series. When I return, it’ll be back to the grind!

Coming up next week, I’ll be preparing to leave my hometown. That’s right! The Atlanta move is official. We’re set to move in on July 13th, but I’m not set to leave Erie until the end of the month. I still have a few things to get done before I finish my move.
