I always find it interesting when I get comments like this even after a year of writing about all kinds of programming languages. That said, here’s the Hello World in Ruby article.
The year is 2019, and I’m over a year into the Sample Programs project. With over 100 languages and over 250 code snippets in the collection, I thought maybe people would be done questioning my interest in programming languages. Yet, here we are. In this particular instance, I wrote a Hello World article for the Goby language which is a Ruby-like language written in Go. Apparently, I’ve been wasting my time all along because I could have been using Ruby. Who knew?
