When I think about potential research projects, video games always come to mind. Since playing the Phantasy Star series, I've become interested in procedural spell generation.
As an avid gamer, I find that matchmaking systems can often make or break my experience with a game. As an effort to improve these systems, I'm toying with the idea of working on them for my PhD.
