Say Goodbye to Writer’s Block

Say Goodbye to Writer's Block Featured Image

I don’t know what has come over me this week, but I have been writing like a madman. As a result, there are now probably close to ten articles in the pipeline. That means more content for you. Say goodbye to writer’s block!

Challenging the Status Quo

If you don’t know by now, I’m going through a bit of a quarter-life crisis. I’m just not a fan of where I’ve ended up in my career, and I’ve been pretty down about it for about six months or so. As a result, I’ve slowly been taking some actions to course correct for the better.

During this soul searching period, I’ve gone through various phases: depression, ambition, excitement, etc. However, the future is still so very uncertain. With this uncertainty, I find myself doing a lot of reflection which tends to result in some pretty solid article content.

With that being said, I know I’m opening myself to a lot of criticism, so I don’t plan to reveal any details about my journey just yet. That said, I will reveal I’ve been working on a thirteen part series that is a tribute to a lot of my frustrations over the past year—say goodbye to writer’s block. In addition, I have a whole host of other articles coming out about this transition and how you can make your own change as well.

If you want to know more details, you’ll have to reach out for the time being. I won’t be able to publish anything until at least December as I can’t afford to lose my job.

Song of the Week

Again, the choice was easy this week. One of my favorite bands, The Wonder Years, released an acoustic album of a bunch of their old songs, and I’m absolutely addicted. I’m a sucker for vocal harmonies and horns. What can I say?

If you follow the link in the image, it’ll take you over to Amazon where you can listen to “You in January.” It’s probably my favorite song on the whole record, so check it out.
